Disclaimer:

I am an aspiring candidate of the admin election, but I will try to be impartial and only talk about the facts.

The Admin Election

Unless you have been living under a rock, you should know about an upcoming event. The admin election. I will link the official post here:

Attention! BIG Updates (Including Election) – Ehab.Lawz.Online

This post tells people that there will be an election coming up, and anyone wishing to run for admin can comment that. Here are the known requirements:

  • Already be an author
  • Comment under the post

Simple, right? Well, the fact that it is simple is a problem. To put it simply, if everyone runs, nobody votes. Obviously, most people would want a prestigious position like admin, so the majority of authors would run for it. The main issue with that is if all the authors are running, nobody would vote. I already have an article about it, I will link it here:

How I Believe an Admin Election Should Go – Ehab.Lawz.Online

Who is Running?

Here is a list of all people that commented “I want to run” or some variation of that.

  • James Gregory
  • Andrew
  • Liam Corliss-Regul
  • Kenan
  • Joseph Manning
  • Ethan Lin (me)

I will try to keep this list updated.

Who Should you Vote for?

Now that we have established the runners, I will now be listing their achievements and some flaws so you can decide the best option.

James Gregory: James has posted 5 articles. Since the admin election, he has posted 3 new articles in one day. He is much more active since the election was officially announced.

Andrew: Andrew has posted one article called “Very Good Ehab Rap” He is not very active on the site and has posted 6 comments.

Kevin Moyer: Kevin is staying admin. He does his job well.

Liam: Liam has posted one article called “After That Walk.” He has posted 5 comments. It is noted that he posted a comment that was later taken down due to it being innapropriate.

Kenan: He has posted one article titled “For a More Creative Brain Follow These 5 Steps” He is not very active on this site and has posted 1 comment.

Joseph Manning: Joseph has posted 3 articles, each related to the Daily Debate post. He is regularly active on the site with 22 comments and runs the daily debate post.

Ethan Lin: Ethan has posted 12 articles, 4 of which are about play-doh, but the majority are educational. He posts articles near daily and is very active. He has posted 36 comments. A notable article is where he taught people how to make colored fire.

Vote Wisely

Be smart with who you vote for. Vote wisely. Vote responsibly. Maybe vote for me.

  1. Thanks for this post, Ethan! I understand you see a problem, however, to clarify, the amount of people running will be very limited (will be discussed with Ehab).
