There have been legions of countries that have been communist; Vietnam, the USSR, and North Korea are prominent among them. But is it really as bad as us Westerners make it out to be?
It isn’t.
Truth be told, communism is a good idea.
“From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”
– The Basic Tenet of Socialism
Communism could have worked. But Totalitarian parties led these countries down a dark path to depressions, restrictions of human rights, and censorship, among other things.
But maybe, just maybe, it could have worked.
